Meet The Owners

Ricky Bermudez & Astrid Garcia

Two young entrepreneurs with an ambition to stand out and do things with a twist! Ricky Bermudez (30) was born in Houston, TX and has Guatemalan roots. He grew up around Mexican culture and delicious food his entire childhood. Being raised in New Orleans, he found a passion behind the kitchen and focused in culinary arts. He soon he created a fusion of two popular flavors and called it MexiCajun.  

 

Meet his motivation, his fiancée Astrid Garcia (23), born and raised in New Orleans with Honduran roots. She is a senior at Tulane University finishing up her Bachelors in Biology along with her future plans of becoming a commercial realtor. Together they strive to give you an unforgettable, flavorful experience!

Established in 2017 in Metairie, LA with a fulfillment of providing a fusion of two very loved cuisines, we refer it as "MexiCajun Cuisine." Our purpose is to give authentic flavors not only from Mexico but from The Big Easy!

 

Allowing to spread the taste in every dish and being able to explore the freshness of each ingredient to stand out! We stand strong behind our creations and want to spread the experience of MexiCajun and be different from the rest. We want to put our customers first, by that we are dedicated to providing great customer service and giving you an exquisite ambience to enjoy your experience with us!
